Description: Though all bases are positioned in the windy wasteland above the valley, most of the combat takes place below. There are no Shrikes or Thunderswords, and Beowulves are forced to go down in the valley to attack the enemy base. There is a remotely located base, as well as an inventory hub below the flag area. Preset turrets are sparse and do not always do the job, forcing team defense to be strong. Pathways behind the base allow vehicles to travel from up top down to the bottom.

Just "WOW"! Awe inspireing. What terrain should look like. I only had one small problem with the map. There are 2 spots where you can fall into (not through) the terrain. I'm not sure if it's a feature or a bug but once I learned they were there I knew better and avoided them. GREAT MAP!!!

Quite possibly THE best un-script enhanced client-side map out there. Terrain is beautiful, attention to detail is great, base layout is good too. The only real reason it doesn't get full marks from me is the location of the Repair Pack, I'm pretty certain that there is only one in the remote towers, it is a pain in the ass to go get. So a team with no Deployed Invs that looses their generator is gonna have an ass of a time trying to get it back up again, especially if someone is camping the repair packs. Another minor niggle is that the Hidden Generator under the terrain that powers the sensors is audible from the surface.... well kinda.. its audible as you drop down one of the cliff walls! However despite those problems, which can be tweaked by a server admin anyway (if he knows how to use the editor) if he wants to run this map, this map is still truely one of the best. I'd love to see some more maps by How Work Gun. Great!

There is NO good reason for giving this map a D-. That's just stupid. He has put a lot of work into the terrain, and it's fantastic. The map layout is great too. I had to problems on this map. And just because you have some problems with the vehicles you don't give a map like this D-.

the world of t2maps is slowly filling with dumbasses. first of all, look at the map, do you think it was made for 5v5 or less? more like a full 16v16. the vehicle glitches are in all maps, its a t2 problem, not a map specific problem. i've ridden around a lot with all the vehicles and have had no problems to speak of. just because a map isn't the type you play (in your case, it seems to be low populated games) doesn't mean it sucks. and i would say the mear art of the map is a redeeming quality, even if you want to pretend the other things hurt it. sheesh...

This map has some major issues. The tanks will NOT move correctly on the lower level. Also, when you run into the walls with the transport, it gets stuck in them and eventually blows up. The flags are WAY too underdefended by turrets, and in anything lower than a 5v5 game, there wouldnt be enough people protect the flag for the lack of auto defences. Perhaps later works by this maker will be better. I would surely hope so. The ONLY redeeming value, is the fact that the lower level is fun to fight on.

Wow... this is a good one... if you're the huge map type, that is. Don't DL if yer framerate is lacking, but if you've got a good rig yel like this one.

Sweeeeeet! I must have spent at least an hour just running around looking at the view! Then I spent another twenty minutes playing with the tank and grav-cycle (I found a spot where you can jump right over the canyon), and another little while flying around above the map -- I almost wanted to go into the .mis and enable shrikes so I could fly around easier. As for gameplay, I think this map would rock there also (although I only played myself). The flag is in the open, but anyone approaching it makes themselves visible from miles around, since you either need to wander down in the rift, or jet over a huge precipice. Tank battles could be great fun in the river maze, and... and... just download the thing! You won't be disappointed!

This is one of the most beautiful maps I've ever had the honor of playing. That said though, it's got a few problems. First of, its most attractive feature is probably its biggest downfall. That is, the canyon. Takes way too long to get from The inferno base from the storm base, and vica versa. Although there's some neat things implemented that makes life easier. I especially like those roads that go down the canyon walls. That was a stroke of genius. This is a good map, but it strikes me as being more of a work of art than actually being playable. Not to say it's not a blast to play though, it just needs tweaking. Good work!

Very Awesome, but i think it would be nifty if there were a giant elevator shaft form the ridge above the vehical station down to the vehical station, or at least some nifty little platform steps to the top...

Truly a beautiful map. I spent a lot of time wandering around looking for John Wayne :) This game would test any cappers skill. Grabbing the flag may not be a problem but getting it back to base is the real challenge. Again, I cannot praise this map enough. Thanks.

Thank you! This is certainly one of the 2-3 best custom maps thus far. He even cuts down your vehicle options (appropriately). The structure requires teamwork, and offers many tactical and strategic dynamics. Not to mention that the landscape just takes in the senses and makes you look over your shoulder.

I must agree with everything mentioned above. This map is great! I also wanted to point out the nice blending of textures down by the river, from lush green to the desert red/brown. Really top notch stuff!

Beautiful terrain. The flag is not too defendable when havocs are used correctly. Forces teamwork rather than shrike sucide runs at the flag. I played it a second time just to admire the terrain. Keep making maps, you are good at it.

NICE! Very realistic looking and it makes you feel tiny because its so big in scale! I found it kinda hard to use ground vehicles but that was designed I think. The missile launcher is pretty useless MOST of the time, but the flag is so easy to defend it doesn't really matter. A real challenge for cappers! This is extremely high quality and I think its by FAR the best user created map so far. No technical problems what so ever! Some more strategically placed turrets would be nice (AA Turrets on the canyon wall) but thats just a small preference. Heavy Defense is going to LOVE this map, and so will cappers. I highly recommend you download this! Oh, one other minor complaint. The map repeats nearly right at the mission boundries... no one will play there, but still. None of this takes away from the game though! GREAT MAP!
