Submit a Map to Tribes2Maps.com

Use this form to submit your map(s) to our site. Your map will be placed in our map vault for download by other visitors. The higher quality maps may be selected for review by our staff reviewers, which gives your map the greatest exposure in the Tribes community.

Instructions:

  1. Be sure to fill out every applicable blank.
  2. Maps must be submitted in .vl2 file form! <<< READ THIS!
  3. Your map must be playable by simply downloading the .vl2 file to the tribes2\GameData\base folder.
  4. Only submit maps that you created. Do not submit a map on behalf of another map author.
  5. Do not submit maps that are just minor changes from existing maps, such as only weather or time of day changes.
  6. Submitting screenshots is highly recommended! If you don't submit any screenshots with your map, it will be looked at much less often.
  7. Screenshots must be .jpg files, and must not be included in the .vl2 file.
  8. All screenshots will be resized to exactly 640 x 480 pixels. This could cause some distortion if you have cropped your screenshots before uploading them.
  9. You should use the best screenshot for the first one, since it will be used for the thumbnail that shows up in the map search results. It will also be the one that is shown on Tribes2Maps.com partner sites if your map is chosen as Map of the Week.
  10. Please do not submit new versions of maps that you've already submitted! Instead email the .vl2 file to sfphinx@tribes2maps.com and he'll replace the old version.
  11. It may take some time for your map to be placed in our map vault because all map submissions are screened by the Tribes2Maps.com staff before being added to the vault.
  12. All data is required except the web site URL and the screenshots, but you should provide at least one screenshot, and the URL helps you get exposure.

Note: In order to upload a map to Tribes2Maps.com, you now need to have an account on the site forums. You can register for an account here. It only takes a minute to register.
