Description: A variant of Slapdash, this map has thick fog, rain, and lightning. The strategies are completely changed, since the low visibility creates a good environment for stealth and sneaking about. Also added are water, and various forms of eye-candy, including vehicle wrecks with bodies, and the flag has been moved to a protective bunker. It makes for a fun and different variant.

Well, yet another great map from NecroBones. Oh and BFG2000, the difficully of capturing the flag will make your skills become more safisticated. I'm sure Necro had this in mind when he made the map. Anyway, great map Necro. if i could go over this that grade i would give it an A++

Well, this map certainly isn't a high scoring map. But I LOVE IT! (of course, I love siege and mostly play defense hehehe). This is one of the better maps around, and like a few others of Necro's, I think of it as almost "base." Again, it's simple but a really high quality map which requires real teamwork for capping.

I agree with the masses. One of the best maps out there.

BFG can go F**K himself... i LOVE hard to cap maps but it does have a winning strategy for getting the flag... a loaded Havoc flow RIGHT INTO the flag stand with the capper piloting and jumping out behind the morter curtain....s soon as it clears a bit its a simple cap....i was the only capper on this map 3 times in a row...

The difficulty of capturing the flag makes most games end in a draw. A very dull map...

A definite improvement over Slapdash. The bunkers do make setting up defenses possible. The fog makes vehicular travel dangerous. And the eyecandy is sweet-- I toured around the map just looking for crash sites. All this plus server-download makes for a winner.

Slapdash always seemed a bit too boring for me - it was way too easy to get the flag, and not very fun to play. However, StormDash turns this all around. It's amazing how much difference putting the flag in a bunker and adding some fog can make on a map. I had my doubts when I first loaded this up ("Will this just be the same boring slapdash with more fog?"), but you proved me wrong. This is a great map.

I like this version much better then the original slapdash. I love the pillbox built next to the flag bunker. But the inv. station gets in the way. Should just leave it out and let someone deploy a portable station if they feel the need. These added structures makes setting up defenses an actual option that the original slapdash didn't have. Setting them up was a waste cause any talented flag capper could zip buy before they could even activate. A great map with lots of strategic options.
