Description: This map was created in the hope that I could express one of the greatest CTF SS maps. For those of you that played it on the =W= Warlords BEML Fun Night and enjoyed it, I hope that servers will put this map in the rotation so that you can play it as much as you want, this was created with |HV| in mind, IMO one of the best servers around.

The map is map out of many shapes put together. I am very proud of the skiable bridge that connects the flag building and the main base, if you decide to use this idea, it would be nice to put some reference to me...the bridge takes some practice to ski quickly, I tried to newbify it as much as possible. The key I found is jump just about the whole way down and jet up into the ceiling of each section, following the curve down.

The map is foggy, there is a central objective called The Stone Towers. A good objective to capture since it will provide an area to regroup/reload to attack. Plus there are a total of 8 turrets to guard it, 4 on the towers-AA 2 underneath the platforms-Mortar and 2 periphery-AA. Also there is a shrike and bomber that should respawn each time at the towers, please tell me if they don't.

The bases have certain ff that is powered by their own gens, also certain gens power the indoor features such as sentries. There are 2 v-pads. One is easy to hit, the other is covered by the main base and is harder to hit. There are provisions in the base that allow for resupply in the event that the gens are down.

I just played this on Miami Vehicles and had a BLAST...

I liked the map overall. However, the bomber did not respawn after I destroyed it with my shrike. I tried switching teams, destroying my shrike, capturing the objective from myself. I think it's a good map. It just needs a bit of tweaking on that bomber code.

Map has been updated again. Updates to the map are: 1) Fixed forcefield repair pack problem 2) Two additional turrets added to the objective to make it fairer. 3) Additional platforms and repair packs added to central objective to make repairing of tower turrets and sensors easier. 4) High altitude no-team bomber resupply platform added 5) Various eye candy added 6) Once again, the vehicles should respawn at the objective, tell me if they don’t.

Updates to this map are: 1) Lower v-pad has now been switch to ground only vehicles 2)Upper v-pad is opperational, I just changed the height of the pad, now it looks like there is no pad there. 3) Spawn onto vehicle station is not fixed, I tried many changes to the spawn graph and moving it around, it was not possible 4)FYI there is a small gen in the upper area that will kill the upper forcefield when it is destroyed, look at the lower blue lights for it. 5) Gen are easily rapeable as once the upper ff gen is down the sentry turrets are easy to kill, however the grated gen requires splash damage or carefully placed mortars. 6) The vehicles at the Stone Towers should respawn. Tell me if they don't. All this is in the updated version of this map that I have submitted to Bytor.

The team only ff on the top of the base if powered by a small gen that once it is destroyed the FF goes down, as with the spawning, there is not much I can do about it, it took muck work to have the sphere where it is and to have it work. Also changing the vehicles on the lower pad is not such a bad idea, I may do that.

Good environment. I like how the fog is really thick in some places and thin in others. Shrike pilots have to beware crashing into things at higher elevations. I admired the objective because it is built 'into' the terrain. The rocks go through it and support it and such. The 'skiable' bridges are of interesting construct and are necessary for cappers without a ride. The main base would be very hard to assault (as in, destroy the generator) because of the team-only forcefield at the top and the grating over the generator. It seems to me the generator would never be down unless a team devoted their entire offense to attacking it. I like how the flags are positioned forward but still guarded. I also liked the use of those red forcefields on the flag structure to give it a nice glow. The upper vpad looks great, but I would stay away from having a spawn point on top of the station. I would also take out the air vehicles in the bottom station and restrict it to ground vehicles but that's just my preference on surface vpads.
