| Description: |
This is my latest, and if I may say so, my best map. It features 2 towers
connected by three levels of intertwining bridges. There is an Oilrig in the
center that can be captured, allowing access to a couple of inventory stations. This map makes you feel like an ant compared to to the buildings next to you. It
is amazing to look up at the maze of bridges above you, and yet it is still
comfortably easy to navigate. A scout armor with an energy pack can reach just
about any point on the map with energy to spare, while a juggernaut can use the
elevators, located at key points on the bridges. The map is fully navigable using
the little tunnels under the bridges, allowing for some interesting gun battles. The MBP can be deployed on the bridges, which is ideal for beefing up your defence.
The amount of max deployable turrets has been juiced up to 6. Not much else can be said about this map in words. You have to play it for
yourself to comprehend the complexity of it all.
I would just like to add that I have no clue what possessed me to spend my time
making a map this complex, but surprisingly it only took me a week. |

People should probably download this regardless, as I can't imagine joining a game and waiting for the lighting to build. |

(unless you're one of those types that puts together 2000 piece jigsaw puzzles for fun--I am starting to think you are :) ) I am glad you did not stretch everything out of whack--that usually looks terrible. The elevators are used well. Everything on this map is tight. Good job! |

Actually, i reckon if the visibility was reduced quite heavily (to about 2/3) with a little more fog would make a more interesting and faster gameplay... but just suggestions. :D welcome to t2maps.com! |

| Grade: A | Submitted by: na85 - 03/08/2004 03:03 10271 | | I really liked this map. Item placement was excellent, the interiors were on exactly the same Z-level (that's a real pet peeve of mine), and the elevators were a nice touch. The 3 levels of catwalks make for interesting play dynamics. I am an admin on Combat PA 3.0 (running mousemod). In mousemod, the cloak pack doesn't drain your energy unless you jet, so the myriad catwalks and bridges are ideal for a cloaker. You could disappear and never be seen again on this map.
Running around those tunnels on the underside of the platforms is great in heavy too. You can plop down an inv and then let loose some heavy love, ready to duck back in hiding if they spot you.
I only have 2 issues that stopped me from giving this map an A+. Those bioderm towers you used for the main bases are a tad overused (I appreciate the fact that all the interiors are derm) and I found the map to be rather laggy on my machine (which is mid to high-range)
All in all, good work. |

Most maps like this "cheat" and use scaled interiors... you obviously did not, and spent way more time than is probably healthy placing interiors. Just from the screenshots, I can tell this map will probably decimate my FPS. I'll try to get around to testing it... |

The creator created the feeling of being a small insignificant creature in a complex world. The catwalks are easily navigated with each type of armor. From jetting from bridge to bridge with scout, to levitating through the elevators with juggernaut. One of the best ways to get through is flying through the intertwining catwalks with a shrike. Overall this is a solid map with one flaw. There are low frames even with the best computers. Even still, the desgin makes this map a winner.

The map has a very crisp and clear atmosphere, and looks a lot better than the picture |
