Review:
For all you dark and dreary island in the stormy sea map fans out there, this is the map for you. This map threw in some interesting elements, a few of which a I hadn't see before. The water effects were very original, with large waves and water that will really hamper your movement if you decide to go for a swim. The bases themselves have little built in defense, and the flags are pretty wide open, so setting up a defense quickly will be paramount to keeping the flag at home. Strategically placed mines and satchel charges will also make life a bit more depressing for flag grabbers, as routes are limited by the base design.

The bases were your average two story structure, with a few invens indoors. A fully equipped vehicle pad makes navigating the terrain a breeze, and a good bomber run could be really effective on this map. The map balance was excellent and the bases seemed almost entirely equal to me. There was an objective thrown in the middle, but with limited turret support it didn't strike me as particularly important to winning the map. Fast grabs and remote turrets should be the key to victory here.

I felt the terrain layout was great, and the total atmosphere of the map was very cool. One of the better maps I've seen for t2, and I hope the author, Captain Radium, continues to spew forth more mapping goodness.
