Review:
The beauty of this map comes from its simplicity. No generators, no fixed inventory stations, no hardened turrets. Just a handful of structures, some essential objects, a vehicle station, and 2 flags. Once the MPBs are deployed, the action is fast ... it's all about getting your deployable defenses set up and then attacking the enemy flag with wild abandon.

Each base is made up of a few structures which serve as little more than a place to find a few weapons and packs, as well as a place to spawn. Each side also has a couple random wall fragments which suggest this location is what remains of a once-fortified base. These walls make good spots to hide a portable inventory station, or to anchor a clamp turret.

The mid-point of the map provides another basic structure which houses some repair kits and a repair pack, as well as some mines. This central area sees a lot of mid-field dueling as the offensive players collide on their way to the enemy base.

The wide-open flag stand and the surrounding hills make for some very fast dive-and-grab tactics, further enhancing the speed of gameplay on this map. Each team will need multiple light defenders if they are to have a chance of keeping their flag in possession for long.

My only gripe with this map is that the two bases aren't exactly balanced. One side has a wall fragment much closer to the flag stand than the other. This allows for better usage of the clamp turrets for flag defense. Other than that, the simplicity of design, and the well-chosen object placement on this map make for some refreshingly simple and exciting gameplay.
