Review:
It's always refreshing when a map does a good job of incorporating a new idea. This map does just that with the "lava generator" that controls the level of a pool of lava which hides the capture switch.
The attacking team must first destroy a generator which powers a set of forcefields which in turn protect the lava generator. The forcefield generator is placed a good distance from the lava generator, which ensures that there are two main action areas on this map.
At first, the capture switch is submerged in a pool of lava. Whenever the lava generator is offline, the lava level in the pool slowly subsides. If the lava generator stays down long enough, the capture switch is exposed, and the attacking team can capture.
Even if the lava generator is repaired, the lava level never goes back up. Repairing the lava generator only freezes the lava level at it's current height. This has the added affect of making the defense team's job even more crucial as time goes by. As the switch platform begins to be exposed, the tension really starts to build as the attackers wait for there to be just enough clearance above the lava to fly in and touch the switch. The last few seconds on this map are a serious adrenaline rush indeed.
Any and all Siege server admins should install this server-side map right away. It's sure to be a classic.
