Review:
Rare is the day when a Deathmatch map is reviewed. However, having played Shalos' map in the pickup and having a fun time with it, I believe it deserves special mention.
The terrain is nice and rolling, good for skiing. There are two inventories stations that I found: one in the tower and one in a bunker. It is not necessary to find these inventory stations because there are weapons shattered over the map along with repair packs/kits and ammo.
I liked the use of ambient noise in this map. There is a section of the map where there are broken towers/buildings all over and there is the famous 'howling' (aka "Yeti") noise while you are there. There is also a place where there is a large dead soldier laying on the ground. If you go inside of him , you can hear a heart beating noise. These are probably not the only ambient noises on the map, but they are the ones I noticed.
I cannot think of anything else to say except that the visibility is good and makes for nice sniping. I'm not sure how to grade "balance" so I'll just make it the same as the overall score so as not to change the grade.
