Review:
Lake Trinity is a map which seems like it would provide quite a few strategic opportunities.. kinda a cross between "Big Rocks" and "Magmatic". Unfortunately, it comes across as being a bit on the unfinished side.

Tho' there weren't any mis-named items (9817 Turret, for example), a flagstand was nearly knee-high (amazingly, it doesn't hang up the cappers), and none of the turrets came with barrels.

Since a great deal of the map is covered with water, you're going to spend a great deal of your time trudging through it. The fastest way I could find to traverse the map was by island hopping.. which is where I draw my resemblance to Big Rocks.

Playability does go lower because of the water. If you happen to fall in, it's not even forgiving with friction.. it's very sticky, and won't let you move very quickly. There are no vehicles (unfortunately) to help you out, either, so you're basically on your own.

Attention to Detail is alright, but the missing turret barrels (and the floating stand) somehow bother me..

Balance goes tipped to the defense, tho' if that Heavy armor falls into the water, he's going to need some serious help, so that's not any good.

Item Placement seems to be alright, tho' I couldn't really test the turrets' ability to track targets. The inventory stations seem to be pretty much where they were in Magmatic, (good thing, since the base from that map was used) so you'll at least know where to go to get armed.

Mechanics could have been worked a bit better, I believe. Vehicles, a bit less water.. maybe some capping routes carved into the land to give at least those who can ski a chance.

The bots can't help, here.. best you can do is tell them to "defend the flag", or whatnot. Once they fall in the water, it's all over.

Boot it up and give it a run through.. it's worth that much, if all you do is try to see how fast you can get from flag to flag. Or, taunt the bots into the water as a heavy, and mortar them to death.. that's fun, too!
