Review:
Tanks and MPB's are the name of the game in this map. Desert Guns combines a vehicle pad with a Desert of Death (Tribes 1 Map) style gameplay. Each team's base has only a few turrets and a vehicle pad, no inventory stations. The lack of inventory stations makes the MPB the most important factor here, and a well placed one will not only supply your team with what you need, it will also spell disaster for the enemy base.

The flag is located in a building that can prove to be difficult to grab the flag, if the base is well defended. The vehicle station has no air vehicles, nor grav cycles, so capping is done mainly on foot, unless you have an interesting tank/mpb cap squad. Skiing is fairly easy here, due to the mainly slopes and small canyon like areas, which aids in the capping. The tank is another important factor here. Each team begins with two already made, with more at the vehicle station. Massive tank attacks can happen, causing destruction towards the enemy base. Overall, between the tank destruction, and using the MPB's rocket launcher to wipe out the enemy base, this map was quite a fun one.
