Review:
Another member of the "Use your jets carefully or you're in for a short swim in the lava" map club. I don't know why these maps make for such great gameplay, but they just do. This one takes the concept a step further by keeping the main structures quite far apart, and placing a few small platforms in between. You really need to pay attention to your flight path on this one.

Each team has a base floating not too far above the sea of lava. There is a central structure with a capture switch. This area sees a lot of action because the switch is wide open and there are several avenues of attack.

This map is also a sniper's paradise because of the tiny platforms that players must use as touchdown points on their way across the map. These platforms make great choke points where snipers can focus their attention.

The author included Shrikes as an option too, and that was a wise choice in my opinion. A level like this needs to have more than one way to get across the field. Because there are no hills to hide behind, pilots had better be wary of defenders with missle launchers.

Being a very fun server-side map, well-suited for both small and large numbers of players, server admins should have little reason not to include this one in the rotation.
